Photo Gallery | Six ton potato heading to Midtown

(WMC-TV) – If you’re munching on a hamburger at Huey’s Thursday and see a giant potato rolling by, don’t worry. You’re not having a burger induced hallucination.

A 28-foot long, 12-foot wide and 11.5-foot tall potato will be making a stop at Huey’s Midtown location in order to raise money for Meals on Wheels and to drum up a little publicity for the Idaho Potato Commission.

It’s called the Great Big Idaho Potato. And “Great Big” isn’t overstating the size of this thing. It weighs 6-tons.

The only bad thing about the massive potato? It’s not edible.

The potato will be at Huey's from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
