Photo Gallery | Get the most of farmers markets this fall
Get the goods while you can! Some of the major Farmer Markets around the Mid-South are shutting down for the season. But fret not fresh-food lovers, some markets will still remain open year round.
The Memphis Farmers Market, which places in the top 10 on a nationwide list of farmers markets, will have its last day Saturday, October 26 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will post updates for next season here.
The Church Health Center Farmers Market's last day is Tuesday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church Health Center’s fitness center. The market will start back next April.
The Agricenter Farmers Market is open until the last day in October. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Millington Farmers Market will stay open until the end of October. Visit Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market will resume in May.
The South Memphis Farmers Market is open every Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. It is located at the Corner of South Parkway and Mississippi Blvd.
The Cooper-Young Farmers Market is open year round every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the first Congregational Church parking lot.
