Voices of the South's production of Threads will take place April 11 through the 14 at the First Congregational Church, 1000 S. Cooper. The theatre entrance is on the south side of the building.
Threads is an exploration of seven new short works by Jerre Dye, the recipient of the prestigious 2011 Bryan Family Foundation Award for Drama from the Fellowship of Southern Writers for his play Cicada.
As an added bonus, following each performance the audience will vote for their two favorite short pieces in Threads. Jerre Dye's next full-length play will be a continuation and commingling of the characters and stories of the two pieces that receive the most votes. That newly created play will then be presented in Voices of the South's 2013-2014 season.
