Construction begins on Children's Museum Splash Pad

Constructuion has started on the Children Museum of Memphis Splash Pad that will open in May 2013.

In total, the park will be 7,731 square feet filled with more than 40 sprayers for kids to enjoy.

A water organ that plays like a piano and makes all of the sounds of an organ is sure to be a hit and will be brought indoors during off seasons for the kids to enjoy year round.

Three shade sails will be installed for parents and children looking for a little break from the sun.

With the theme of a flower garden, children will grow as they learn plant and water safety educational concepts. The park will be just like another exhibit.

This exciting new addition will be seasonal, as it will only be open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year. CMOM is looking forward to the new CMOM "H2Oh! Splash" Water Park which is set for grand opening next spring!
