Action News 5 photographer speaks to elementary school students | People
On a dreary day at Sherwood Elementary School, I came to visit and talk to the Kindergartners about what I do for a living.
It's an easy task to explain to most anyone else, but at this young of an age - these kids are visual learners.
What better way to teach the kids what I do then to bring in my nice big heavy work camera and let them play with it.
They enjoyed seeing themselves in the view finder, messing around with the zoom control, and seeing me turn on and off the toggle light of my camera.
Some of the kids tried to pick up the camera, when they began to realize how heavy it really is.
They also learned how I get sound with my video, saw my light kit and even got to look at my company vechile.
The kids enjoyed it and I have to admit I was more nervous about them than anything else.
Thankfully my camera was the thing they were most interested in.
