CMOM proclaims an invitation to the Third Annual Children's Ball | Parents & kids
Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The Children’s Museum of Memphis is pulling out the red carpet, royal gowns and suits of armor once again for the Third Annual Children’s Ball, October 11th from 6 to 9 p.m..
Kids are invited to an enchanted evening of magical joy by traveling via horse and carriage to the Bubbles and Butterfly Garden as they enjoy wonderful treats from the Lollipop Tree.
Young ones will then enter the castle where they will be announced to the guests and presented with sparkling wands of magic and swords. They will walk the red carpet and be greeted by Princess Cinderella and Prince Charming.
Attendees will enjoy magical crafts, the royal dinner, dancing ballerinas, fencing battles and a wonderful theatre presentation by Hutchinson Theatre Department.
Later, children can participate in the roses of love ceremony as Prince Sons present flowers to their Queen Mommies. King Dads will make presentations to their Princess Daughters before the parent and child dance.
Next, they can take a magical journey on the majestic merry-go-round and enjoy the wonderful sounds of violins in the Cookie Forest. There they can look for gold coins and treasures to fill their treasure box. All while hearing magical fairy tales from jesters from the University of Memphis.
The event requires formal attire and is $40 for members. $50 for non-members.
