Woman admits to stealing pet meds from animal hospital | Crime
(WMC-TV) – A woman admitted to police that she stole medication from an animal hospital and sold it on the Internet, according to a police affidavit.
Police say Amy Keller’s boyfriend called her employer, Central Animal Hospital, and told them she had been stealing Trifexis and selling it online.
The animal hospital’s owner then received another phone call from an Elanco sales representative. Elanco is a company that sales animal health products. The sales rep told the owner that Trifexis was being sold online and the boxes were being traced back to her store.
Keller admitted to police she stole the medication from the Central Animal Hospital and sold it earning $15,717.
Amy Keller now faces a theft of property charge.
