Midtown Skateshop owner Hunter Demster is committed to staying in business on McLean near Jackson.
That's even after two burglaries in the six weeks the store has been open.
The latest crime occurred around Halloween night.
Alert neighbors helped locate stolen sunglasses, backpack and other times strewn in several yards after a 17-year-old boy was arrested.
Police say he had thrown a heavy flower pot through the store's plate glass window.
The first burglary happened just two weeks after Demster opened the store.
About $1200 in clothing was taken after the window was broken.
Demster plans to add bars to the windows.
A security alarm has already been installed.
He said he will not allow crime to scare him away from the area.
