Midtown Security Community to discuss crime fighting strategy | Crime

The Midtown Security Community will be welcoming two very important crime fighters to their upcoming meeting on Thursday, Novemver 17, at 5:30 at HopeWorks in the basement of the Midtown Church of Christ just west of Channel 5 on Union. Refreshments begin at 5:30. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. and be over by 7 p.m.

The new head at Union Station precinct, Col. Russell Houston, will be introduced and talk about the latest crime-fighting strategies that he is implementing for Midtown.  District Attorney General Amy Weirich will also be talking about initiatives her office is implementing to keep the community safer.
