This Labor Day, Sept. 2nd, more than 2,500 runners and walkers are expected to fill AutoZone Park for the 11th annual Chick-fil-A 5K. All proceeds from the event support Junior Achievement programs.
While supplies last, early registrants will receive a new performance t-shirt with moisture wicking and antimicrobial properties, based on recommendations from avid runners who participated in past events.
The event kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with an opening ceremony, with the race starting at 9am at the corner of Gayoso Lane and Front Street. The scenic race route passes Beale Street and the Mississippi River, and ends near 3rd base on the field of AutoZone Park.
