Many men this month are participating in No Shave November, but this is irrelevant for one Memphis man who plans to shave off his celebrated mustache for cash in a couple of days.

Church Health Center friend and donor Cameron Petersen said he will shave his beloved mustache if the organization’s iGive program attracts 25 new members.

CHC’s iGive is a monthly donation program.

According to the CHC website, monthly iGive donations provide medical, dental and eye care to thousands of uninsured working people and their families in the Memphis community.

In addition, since the monthly donation is processed automatically, it helps reduce the cost of fundraising – allowing the Church Health Center to provide even more care.

In the YouTube video, Peterson said he has had his mustache for nine months and it is the equivalent of his child.

He is happy to shave it off for donations, you can sign up today by going to http://www.igivechc.org.

According to CHC PR and Communications Coordinator Jeff Hulett - 14 more people have to sign up by Nov. 21 for Peterson to shave his mustache.

"iGive is also a great way to get to know the mission and work of the Church Health Center, because it's not just about donating money, it's about donating your time and talents," said Huelett.
