First "E's 24 Hour Cafe" now open | Business

It was known as a lontime midtown favorite.  The CK's at Union closed a while back, but now it's open again under new management... and a new name.

"E's 24 Hour Cafe" opened on Thursday at 1308 union.

The new owners took over several CK's locations.

This is the first to re-open so far.

The menu will resemble CK’s with higher quality food.

New items including the ½ pound Big E Steakburger and grilled chicken salad sandwich.

The new owners say they are hoping to fill a void in Memphis for locally-owned 24-hour diners.
