Mexican restaurant set to open Midtown location | Business
(WMC-TV) - One local, family owned restaurant is prepared to open its doors to your family.
After about a year of construction, Frida's Mexican Restaurant in Midtown will make its debut to the public next week.
The restaurant will be in Zinnie's East former location. Lauriano Gonzalez, who owns and operates this local Mexican restaurant chain said.
"We've been one year, almost, in construction," he said earlier this year. "We've changed a lot. It's not the old Zinnie's East."
Gonzalez said he and his family spent countless hours and their own money to renovate not only the interior but also the exterior.
The restaurant owner said the final product is not only great for his business, but great for the neighborhood and said his neighbors are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to see the newly renovated building.
“Curious neighbors have been stopping in to see the progress. And social media followers have been hounding about an opening date,” said Gonzalez.
Frida's Mexican Restaurant in Midtown will open Monday, August 13 and will be open for lunch and dinner daily.
