Dancer celebrates 75th birthday at Evergreen Theatre
Maxine "Silverbird" Starling Strawder is celebrating her 75th birthday in style.
She's a memphis performer and student of original modern dance movement.
This weekend, her birthday is also a performance.
At the Evergreen Theatre, the perfomances will trace the history of modern dance through Maxine's life experiences.
It also doubles as a fundraiser for Project: Motion.
Donations will be accepted at each show and in advance online.
