Latin heritage month celebration | Arts & Culture

The Memphis Music Foundation will hold a Latin heritage celebration commemorating the National Hispanic Heritage Month. 

Colombia-born, Memphis musician Marcela Pinilla will host a night of music, food and art.

The celebration will be held Saturday, September 24th at 7pm at the Levitt Shell in Overton Park. 

Musical acts will feature Hispanic R&B act the Glo, rockers Alfepado and Banda Ahullido.

The Foundation welcomes the entire community for this free event. 

Caza Teatro, Memphis' Hispanic theatre group, will have roving characters from the traditional Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Mexican holiday.

Latino Memphis and the Centro Cultural Latino de Memphis will have informational booths at the event.
