Go red for women at the memphis zoo | Community Spirit

The animal statues will wear red hearts the entire month of February.

It's part of the American Heart Association's campaign to remind everyone heart disease is the nation's leading killer of women 20-years-old and older.

You may have seen a lot of people wearing red Friday as part of the Go Red for Women campaign by the American Heart Association.

Many of us wore red here at Action News Five and the Memphis Zoo got in on this very important tradition.
