MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - An artsy Midtown neighborhood will make a comeback this weekend, as event organizers put "A New Face on an Old Broad."

During the weekend event, Broad Avenue in Midtown will become an arts district.  Storefronts along the street, most of which are currently vacant, will temporarily house antique dealers, a bike shop, a coffee house and other businesses.

The purpose of the event is to help entrepreneurs envision what the street once was - and could again be.

"What's going to happen is all of the shops are going to re-open," business owner Jo Buehler said. "People are going to see that they can have tea shops and restaurants or maybe a cleaners."
